To Develop a Multi-Disciplinary, Coordinated Province-Wide approach to Combat Internet Crimes Against Children
- These crimes have no boundries......
- The Internet facilitates increasing numbers who Abuse and Exploit...........Why?
- So.....................Need to deal with it Together
Assist Child Victims of Internet Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Permit the Justice System to build the capacity and sustainability to:
- ID Child Victims by Image Analysis
- Provide Specialized Child Victim Support
- ID and Prosecute Offenders – Prevents Re-victimization
- Awareness Campaigns to help Self-Identification
- Engage in Partnerships with Key Stakeholders to establish Community-Justice linkages
The Strategy
- This Integrated Model will Coordinate the increased Identification of Victims
- Provide Support Services to Victims of Child Internet Luring, Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
- Assist in Preventing the cycle of Recurring Victimization
- The Ontario Government said it is time to Eliminate Silo Policing in relation to these Crimes
- Develop a Coordinated Strategic plan between
- Police Services
- Crown Attorneys
- Victim Support Services

- Proactively Identify Victims to Prevent Re-victimization
- Expand this capacity through a Victim ID team
A New Multi-Disciplinary Approach
