National Victims of Crime Awareness Week is April 13-19 — this year’s theme is “Finding the Way Together.” (city/province) will commemorate the week by raising public awareness of victim issues through local events.

The Government of Canada will launch the 2008 National Victims of Crime Awareness Week by hosting an opening ceremony and symposium on Monday, April 14 in Ottawa.

National Victims of Crime Awareness Week is an annual event that seeks to increase public awareness of victim issues, to celebrate those who work to provide services and advocate on behalf of victims, and to send the message to all Canadians that we must work together to address victim issues.
